Been waiting over a month for my card

I paid a $200 deposit over a month ago and still havent received my card. Now I have to wait another 7-10 days to get my card.

I put up 500+ dollars to "secure this stupid credit builder card from first progress in the end of November. No card and no response from the jerks... They need to do something, or I'll have to pay a visit in person and get the lawyer involved... SMH... it's simple.... SIMPLE. I send $$ they give me a card to use and I pay the bill... WTF FIRST PROGRESS... GET my damn card!

I applied for a card I never received and paid my 200. Now it's saying a got a balance which caused my credit score to drop. I talked to customer service and I was told that I was gone be refunded my money within 2 weeks and Im still waiting.

This agent hung up on me. I was about to tell her my issue and the line went dead, only to not receive a call back! Your application tells me my card number isn't found when trying to login but the card works. I'm not happy!!!

WtfThey charged me $500 for a deposit for a credit card back November. I thought I would be able to use it for Christmas.

Not only did they not approve me for the credit card like they said they would but they have kept my money for longer than 2 months with no explanation. I am still waiting for a refund. I could of done plenty with this $500. I could of invested it inn a stock where I could of had a return on it rather than leaving it in their bank account doing absolutely nothing for me.

Im sure they knew exactly what they were doing.

Why ask customers to invest $500 in a credit card that they guarantee will have miles to them within a month when they have no intention on doing it. Its shameful and this is why America is a *** and a joke because of greedy unthoughtful corporations like first progress

I regret opening this account for the following reasons : 1.39.00 a year 2. You must mail in your payment or pay $10.00 to pay over the phone. NO APP 3. If you decided that you made a bad decision to do business with this company, and wish to close your account, they ask for 10 WEEKS to return your deposit. I would keep looking if I could do this over. There are better companies to work with to re-establish your credit. I will say, I was able to connect with customer service straight away, AND the APR on this card is currently 13.9% and is basically the only 2 things FIRST PROGRESS has going for them. Hope this review helps.
