Payment

I closed the account for the simple reason of you wanting to charge me $10 to make a payment! That is ludicrous thanks but no thanks!

First Progress has no interface for paying online, except that you can go to your own bank's website and arrange a payment. Normally I do that, but this month I overlooked the bill for some while. My monthly payment is due today -- a Sunday. I went to my bank website...

On 2nd thought, preferred solutions would be: 1. Waiving my exorbitant $40 late fee in this instance; plus perhaps: 2.

For future, installing a normal payment interface on the First Progress website so one can pay with a debit card instantly -- & avoid exorbitant late fees; and 3.

Consider reducing the late payment penalty to some more reasonable figure. -Dabid Israel

First Progress - Concerning my secured credit card
I applied for a secure credit card in September through Honore Credit Consultant. I never received my card and a transaction in the amount of $200 was withdrawn out of my bank account. Why is the application still saying that its in progress?

Every time i pay the 30.00 fee it tells me its an error so I guess that means it just takes my money. I've called trying to resolve the issue but you guys are close

Payment questions

Just waiting for them to show my account as paid. That's the problem I had with them. Funding the card balance takes forever and the reporting to the credit companies is ridiculous. It takes months. I just need this to show as paid already.

User's recommendation: I would not recommend as a starter card. Go to capital one.

Negative Comment on my credit

This first progress card is still being reported to Equifax and I am confused on why that is happening when this card is at least 7 years or older. The negative comment that has been reported to equifax dropped my score 49 points which is ridiculous. This card is charged off and I think it should be completely removed. I cant even pull this card up on my report so why would the company report negative comments after all this time on a card that isnt showing up on my credit report. Please respond back because I would like answers or at least stop reporting negative comments on a 71 dollar balance. Thanks, Octavia
