First Progress forces your balance to be at zero or positive at each month end so to make you forget and pay additional fees for nothing.
There is no automatic mailing system for balance, no automatic debit to your bank account when you have one.
It is a joke and unless you strictly have no other option, never use it. And if you use it, check online your account so to make sure to pay right on time without ever expecting any proactive information from them.
This is their business model: never informing you, never enabling to load the card in advance, so to be able to screw you with charges that should never happen.
Hopefully they'll have a major class-action which will give back their undue profits to the people who really need it.
They use the system at the fringe and should be forbidden to exist for TRUELY UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE. They should all be in jail for screwing the people and never come back from there.

- No automatic possibility to draw from a bank account

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I was approved for the card, so they finally sent out a credit card in my name
The payment was settled and taken for the deposit. Every time I try to talk to someone regarding my deposit, I'm put on hold for hours and no one ever answers. I've called over five times and each time it's the same thing. All I want is for my $100 to be refunded back to my debit card because I was denied the credit card.
Why take the money off my card if you denied my application for a credit card. Now I'm having a hard time getting back the money that this company took off after denying me.

I sent 100 dollars for a deposit and ive been charged for a deposit. My money has been stolen by first latitude and i've asked them multiple times to correct this before the bill comes out and they continue to charge me.
This has negatively effected my score and has completly backfired on my goals to improve my score. Thanks. I have called so many times to have this fixed and was assured that it was when it clearly hasnt. I'm at my wits end with this company and as soon as I get my money back I want to cancel and tell everyone and there mother everyday until the day I die that this credit card company is a fraud who steals peoples money that are just trying to better themselves my establishing credit.
This company has taken what little hope I have to better myself and has ruined it. My blood pressure and depression is a direct source of you people lying to me and stealing from me every chance you got. I honestly dont know how you people sleep at night knowing you steal money and dont help people at all. I want someone to correct this because I'm misreable because of it.
Nobody seems to care that I worked really hard to save up that money for the security deposit and you guys take it and burn me like its nothing. Why wont anyone help me? why Do I owe $200 at this point. I sent 100 and now you say i owe you a hundred .
You guys robbed me and wont fix it and expect me to pay you more.
I've called 10 times not even kidding for the last 2 months and was told its fixed just to get an even bigger bill unneccessarly next month. Upi all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Scammed
Ive been paying my bill directly from my bank account via echeck but one day I opened the app and there was a place where you could make a payment through the app, I thought finally, they've done an update and are catching up to current times, I had to put my account and routing number and made the payment, the money was deducted out of my account. A month later I get a late fee and when I called they said you can't make payments online, well who has my money then?

Just a total inconvenience and unnecessary hoops you go through making a payment. I'm really considering closing both accounts hers and mines. Our bill was due on the 24th it was delivered on the 22nd why offer this payment option if your only not going to do your job and process people payments.
SCAM ALERT... So done with crooked company's trying to weasel a dollar

Total crap company, stuck out here with no gas and a credit card that doesnt work.Paid the fees and have a worthless card that has left me stranded without gas for my vehicle and no way to contact anyone because its sunday. First thing tomorrow I will shred this card and never pay my balance

I have paid my past due amount early so I could pay a few bills only to find out that it takes 10 days for it to post on my account. Wtf is its all about?
How when it was deducted from my Pnc bank account does it take so long for it to post on First Progress? This cant be a real bank? Or are Youll juggling the money first before you post it to an account?
Im done with this Credit Card. Its way too much BS

Me and my wife both have accounts and always send our payments together. Our payments our always via mail.
Our usps tracking shows it got to you guys Friday the day before the payments were due. We never had an issue but now that's over $250 in money orders your holding and charging us $29 for late fees how? I'm really considering closing our accounts we don't get our monthly statements never. It's always something with first progress.
So my question is we know you received our payments before the due dates wheres our money and are you really going to steal our money? Update 6/30/2023 so still no money on my account call them twice got the same to people a brain or Ryan very rude unprofessional. Then his floor lead/ manager Stacy 2 days in a row both of them no concerns about my issues they cashed my wife's money order and updated her account and removed the late fee.
They're screwing with me because I complained... All people gotta do is their job you can't get that anywhere almost now!!!

While they provide the ability to pay online and thru their app, every payment is declined on First Progress side. The bank is never receiving the request, but initially First Progress wanted to blame my bank.
Oh but you can call in to have an agent process the payment to the exact same account and it is accepted.
Yet, they want to charge a $10 fee each time unless you debate the charge.
Then there is a 10 day hold on the funds before they will make then available for use.
So if you want your credit report to show a zero balance, you actually need to make the payment 10 days prior to your next statement date processing. So your due date they provide is not actually your due date for reporting purposes.
First Progress needs to do better.

Woke company. Asked for break refused with 8 years membership.
I fell behind because they kept changing due date. I would pay 2 weeks early and they told me I was late!
So I started sending in week earlier. Still late. So I then asked for a break. I was being charged late fee for months!
When asked how to get break... Write letter!!! Wow they take money but never give you a break. I only owed $20 and sent $60 yet I'm not getting a break.
I refuse to pay from here on because they are obviously a WOKE credit card company.
They're supposed to help create credit yet they refuse to help me fix this! Do not get First Progress credit card.
